Amazon HALO is a health and wellness product designed to help our customers take the hard out of health. Using Computer Vision and AI driven training our workouts modify weekly based on user performance. I manage a team of UX designers creating app based and wearable fitness tracking products. I partner with Engineering, Product and Brand to help create Amazon’s future health products. My team innovated new ideas as well as conducted research to improve the existing feature set. I negotiate future roadmaps and deliverables while continuously delivering UX, UI and copy for current in market HALO products.
AT&T TV is an OTT offering that includes Live TV, On Demand and Cloud DVR. We have taken user feedback, advancements in technology and market demand to evolve the current AT&T TV app. As a UX director on this project I lead a team in LA and Sydney creating UI and UX for multiple platforms. We worked with development spread across the globe. I also negotiate design and performance deltas that arise from hardware limitations, timelines and budgets. I worked closely with Product, Development, Motion, Research and Copy to produce the highest quality product.
Users wanted a way to upgrade and downgrade their channel packages easily. Prior to this feature, users had to call the DIRECTV Stream service to alter their channel package. This project enabled the user to change their channel package within the app. The app also prominently displays the changes to their monthly bill.
Advertising and content promotion teams across AT&T are working to monetize the DIRECTV NOW experience. The internal strategy team and I partnered with stakeholders across AT&T to create guidelines and a framework to test new ad formats. This project balances the needs of the business while still protecting the user experience. We discovered new insights and favorable ad placements through user research.
DIRECTV has 17 millions subscribers. We take qualitative and quantitative research findings to identify improvement areas in our experience . We balance cost, development timeline and user need to continuously iterate the product. We track Net Promoter Scores quarterly to stay on target. Legacy hardware and a unique user base keeps the work interesting and challenging.
This video delivery system relies on a recommendation engine to create a custom user viewing experience. Strips of content replace the traditional grid guide. What is immediately available becomes the focus. User created content and recommendations could be shared with friends.

This project is an IP video solution to win back cord cutters. This graphic heavy TV experience is delivers on an Android stick. The search engine combines Cablevision offerings along with Netflix, Hulu and Internet channels. The system is also designed to include any yet to be released video providers. Mixing search results and recommendations from several providers in one simple interface provides the user with the best options. A custom remote was designed and 3D printed for testing.
